Say Yes Cannon Beach

Salt Air, Golden Light, and Five Days on the Oregon Coast

April 8-12, 2027 | 4 Nights, 5 Days | Cannon Beach, Oregon

Most people picture the Oregon Coast as grey and dramatic. And for much of the year, that’s true.

But April is where the magic sneaks in.

Misty mornings turn into golden evenings. Rain rolls through just long enough to feel cozy, then the light breaks and the coastline glows. Elk in the distance, tide pools revealed, waves a little wilder in the best way.

This trip is built around that window.

Five days of long beach walks, forest hikes, slow mornings with coffee, and evenings that stretch a little longer than you expect. Think cozy coastal stays steps from the ocean, fireside hangs, something local in your glass, and time carved out to actually relax.

No packed schedule. No tourist traps. Just a small group of ten women, a thoughtful pace, and a photographer capturing it all as it naturally unfolds.

Fly into Portland on the morning of April 8, and we’ll head to the coast together. From there, everything is taken care of until we return on April 12 for late afternoon or evening flights home.

You just have to say yes.

Why April?

Why Say Yes to Cannon Beach in April

The Oregon Coast has a reputation. Misty. Grey. Dramatic. And yes, most of the year, that’s true.

But April is where it surprises you.

It’s when the coast feels alive in a different way. The kind of mornings where the air is crisp and quiet, and the kind of evenings where the light breaks through just long enough to turn everything gold. It’s wildlife you don’t expect, tide pools revealed by shifting water, and moments that feel almost too cinematic to be real.

This isn’t the version of the PNW most people talk about.

This is slow, golden evenings on the beach. Layers on, coffee in hand, watching Haystack Rock catch the light while the tide moves in and out. It’s cozy and wild at the same time. And somehow, it feels like you have it all to yourself.

The Experience

What We'll Experience Together

Every day of this retreat is intentional and unhurried. No rushing between stops, no racing to fit everything in. Just five days moving slowly through one of the most beautiful coastlines in North America.

Highlights include:

  • The scenic drive from Portland to the coast, winding through towering evergreens and that unmistakable Pacific Northwest forest

  • Afternoons near Haystack Rock, exploring tide pools and sea stacks as the ocean pulls back

  • A morning hike through Ecola State Park, where old-growth forest opens up to sweeping ocean views

  • Dinners at Cannon Beach’s most loved local spots, the kind of places you linger a little longer

  • Slow, cozy evenings, maybe by the fire, maybe listening to the rain, maybe both

  • A golden hour photo experience on the beach, with the kind of light that feels like magic

  • Strolls through downtown Cannon Beach, popping into bookstores, coffee shops, and local boutiques

There is space to wander, time to rest, and room for the slow moments that make a trip feel like yours.

Meals

Every Meal Is Taken Care Of

All meals are included from the moment we sit down to dinner on Thursday night through breakfast before we load the van on Monday morning.

You do not have to think about where to eat, whether it fits the budget, or how to get a table for a group on a Friday night in a beach town. That is already done.

Some of the best moments on every trip happen around the table. I want you to be fully there for them.

Alcohol is not included.

18+ Years of Professional Experience

You'll Be in the Photos

I'm Macey, a professional photographer with 18+ years of experience, and I am on every single trip.

That means you can put your phone in your pocket and stay completely present. No stopping to document moments you should be living. No asking strangers to take photos that never turn out right. I will be there the whole time, capturing the beach light, the trail through Ecola, and the look on your face when you are standing at Haystack Rock at golden hour, salt air all around you, wondering how this is your real life.
